Privacy & Responsible Data Use. We examine how customer and prospect data is collected, stored, integrated, shared, enriched, retained, and activated; its source and ownership; and the vendor and downstream data flows connected to it.
That includes consent and preference management, retention and deletion processes, minimization and unnecessary collection, sensitive or higher-risk customer data, privacy-rights workflows and whether requests can propagate across connected systems, and use in analytics, segmentation, automation, and AI. We consider whether governance, documentation, controls, permissions, and operating processes appear adequate for the organization's use of customer data.
Data Fortitude identifies privacy-related operational, data, technology, and governance risks that may warrant remediation or review by the client's privacy counsel, DPO, security team, or another appropriate specialist. We do not provide legal advice or certify or determine regulatory compliance.
AI readiness is not only a technology question. It depends on understanding what customer data exists, its source and provenance, how it is used, who can access it, whether permissions, governance, and processes are adequate, and whether the data is appropriate for the proposed AI use case. We help organizations strengthen customer data, governance, privacy practices, permissions, processes, and measurement before significant AI use cases.
